Who Am I?

I’m a working mom to 2 girls trying to navigate my way through parenthood, marriage and life in general. After having our first daughter, we tried for a while to have another baby. After 3 IUIs, 1 miscarriage and 1 IVF, we were extremely grateful to welcome our baby girl 5 years after our first. I’m now trying to navigate life with a kindergartner, a newly crawling baby, an aging, incontinent dog, a cat that doesn’t seem to like us very much, a full-time job and oh, yeah, a still annoying husband. Our life is simultaneously crazy and utterly boring.

(I also chronicle my life with my annoying husband at the very obviously titled My Husband is Annoying.)

  1. Hi
I started reading your other blog about the annoying husband and figured i would give this one a try. Love it !!! I did not know i would have so much in common with someone else in this world but i have found through your blog i do.

  2. I’m excited about your new blog! I have been following myhusbandisannoying for awhile now, I think I heard of you on thenest, or theknot.com, I can’t remember. I have a 4 month old daughter, 2 dogs, and 2 cats and an annoying but wonderful husband. So I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your life with us, it is always refreshing to have someone to relate to on those stressful days.

  3. I love your reading your blogs on your annoying husband and little Peanut. I have an annoying husband, a son that is about 6 days younger than your Peanut, and I went back to work full-time when my little one was 3 months old. Many of your postings just hits home with me. Thanks for sharing.

  4. I will say one thing about this (and some previous episodes) you have written about. Be sure your writing is preserved. Be sure to back it up on some external media. My favorite is paper. There is too much risk in depending on digital storage – this from a former IBM Product Manager? Yes – These are not business records; this is part of your history and it is important you preserve it for bambino. She will cherish your thoughts at this time long after you are gone.
